Surah-Anbiya

Surah Anbiya, also known as the Chapter of the Prophets, is the 21st chapter of the Quran. It consists of 112 verses and covers various themes related to the stories of prophets, the oneness of God, the Day of Judgment, and the consequences of disbelief.

The Surah begins by emphasizing that the Day of Judgment is certain, and people will be held accountable for their actions. It highlights the arrogance and ignorance of those who deny the truth and warns them of the impending punishment.

The Surah then presents the stories of several prophets, such as Noah, Abraham, Moses, and David, among others. These stories serve as reminders of the challenges faced by the prophets and the rejection they encountered from their people. Despite facing opposition, the prophets remained steadfast in their faith and continued to convey the message of monotheism.

The Surah highlights the importance of recognizing the signs of God’s existence and power in the universe. It emphasizes that the creation of the heavens and the earth, as well as the alternation of day and night, are clear signs for those who reflect.

The Surah also discusses the consequences of disbelief and the rewards of faith. It states that those who reject the truth will face a severe punishment, while those who believe and do righteous deeds will be rewarded with Paradise. It emphasizes that the true believers are those who worship God alone and do not associate partners with Him.

Furthermore, the Surah addresses the concept of resurrection and the return of all beings to God. It emphasizes that everyone will be resurrected on the Day of Judgment and will be held accountable for their deeds. The Surah stresses that there will be no escape from God’s judgment, and those who disbelieve will regret their choices.

Surah Anbiya also discusses the futility of idol worship and the absurdity of attributing partners to God. It calls on people to use their intellect and ponder over the signs of God’s creation to recognize His oneness.
